and when you're lost in fantasy

A while back, YouTube shoved a trailer for KPOPPED onto my homepage and I was immediately intrigued because the thumbnail had Megan Thee Stallion and PSY posing together. Doctor Sister also mentioned the show to me a couple of weeks later (we're both casual Megan Thee Stallion fans).

According to Billboard, KPOPPED is going to pair different K-pop groups with Western artists and each K-pop group is tasked with reinterprating these Western artists’ most popular songs, turning them into a K-pop-esque track down to the flashy choreography.

Some of the performances are already up on Apple TV's official YouTube account and the speed at which I clicked the video for the ITZY and Spice Girls collab of "Wannabe" 😂

I was grinning throughout the entire performance and started bouncing in my seat once the drums started going hard at 2:04. As a 90s baby, I will always be fond of a lot of the Spice Girls' songs. I remember we had cassette tapes of Spice and Spiceworld, and a VHS of the Spice World movie. (And they're probably still around somewhere in the house!)

I jumped into the two other performances and was also grinning throughout both:
